Currently, tobacco integrated plant has six branchesft Total production output exceeds 10 thou, tons of tobacco per year. «Tutun- CTC» provides local market with tobacco articles (having 48 company’s specialized shops) and presents permanent working places for 1.300 persons. Production of tobacco (fermented, leaf, cut) and cigarettes both with and without filter is a main kind of the enterprise's activity. Annually, more than 7 billions of cigarettes (25 trademarks) are produced. «Tutun-CTC» purchases raw material from agricultural enterprises of the republic and imports it from producing companies from FranceŞ Bulgary, Greece, Brazil, Turkey and operates on modern technical equipment, i.e. production lines with 5.200 tons of annual capacity provided with computerized system for monitoring and control of technological processes. Enterprise's activity is arranged under advanced technologies: production of mo-noacetate filters of different sizes and spe-cifications, production of cut tobacco blends of «Oriental», «American Blend», «Virginia Blend» and other types. Production dutput of a single complex line amounts to 4-5 thou, cigarettes per minute. «Tutun-CTC» is the only tobacco pro-ducing unit in the Republic of Moldova, where quality system is introduced, which is based on the international standard ISO- 9001:2000. It allowed to increase considerably assortment, to improve quality, to reduce costs and time for products certification. In 2005 «Tutun-CTC» obtained 'the certificate SRAC (Romanian Society of Quality Assuarance) of marketing, elaboration and commercialization of tobacco articles, fermented and cut raw materials on local and external market. Tobacco articles of «Tutun-CTC» were marked with medals and awards of different international exhibitions and forums: «International Gold Star for Quality» (Madrid, 1998); «12th International Europe Award for Quality» (Paris, 1998); «World Quality Commitment Award» (Paris, 2000); «Medaille d'or spi» (Paris, 2001); «Tabacex» (Moscow, 2001); Diploma of laureate of State Premium for realisations in the field of quality, productivnessand, competitiveness, «Trade Mark of the Year» (Kishinau, 2003, 2004).
