Tractors perform considerable part of mechanized works. That is why, they are always saleable on the market and are in demand from the part both of large industrial enterprises and smaller agro-industrial entities, as well as little peasant's farm holdings. Knowing market needs, manufacturers try to diversify their products and to extend range of tractors. «Tracom» JSC, the plant with rich ex-perience in production and assembling of tractors, invariably follows this tendency. Plant «Tracom» was created in 1945 as an industrial enterprise for tractor production and repair of agricultural machinery. It produces diesel-engined crawler tractors, which are used for treating inter-tilled crops, for carrying out complex works in orchards, vineyards, greenhouses, etc. Plant had produced already more than 350 thousand tractors, which find application almost in all branches of national economy. It produces agricultural devices for carrying out general works in agriculture (ploughing, harrowing, disking, sowing of seed crops, etc.); pipe-layers and mechanisms for pipes repair; spare parts for agricultural machinery, etc. Tractors produced by «Tracom» JSC meet completely needs of the local market and they are highly appreciated by Moldavian users. Considerable part of tractors is delivered to Russia and Ukraine. More than 550 specialists work at the enterprise and produce goods being in correspondence with standards both by quality and assortment. Materials and components for tractors production are purchased in CIS-states. «Tracom» maintains partnership relations with plants of the same profile from Russia, Ukraine and Byelorussia. In the nearest future, «Tracom» JSC intends to release tractor of the new type (T-80K), as well as to modify and improve already produced models. Plant's target is to diversify products being able to satisfy needs of various branches of economy and at the same time to increase permanently the quality of products.
