«Flautex» JSC was created in 1996 as an industrial production unit specializing in production of textile articles from natural cotton (man's shirts, woman's blouses, dresses, skirts, trousers, special clothes, bed clothes, children clothes), terry and stamped fabrics (bed-sheets, towels, sets of bath clothes, bathrobes, pi jamas). Now, it is a modern enterprise equipped with most modern machines, automated lines and high quality equipment. 250 specialists work at the JSC «Flautex», who perform all necessary production processes and are able to resolve problems of any level of complexity. Annually, up to 200 thousand articles are produced from raw materials purchased from producers from Russia, Romania and Uzbekistan. Mainly, they are products made under orders of social institutions (hair-dressing salons, baths, hotels, kindergartens, hospitals, shelters, sanatoriums, etc.) and governmental organizations of the Republic of Moldova (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Customs Department, divisions of Frontier Service,), as well as of foreign companies from Italy, Romania, Great Britain and Bulgaria. 141 thousand of articles were produced to the order of foreign companies. Its products are sold in Italy, Holland, USA, as well as on the domestic market. Enterprise's products are sold in specialized shops of the commercial network, but not through distributors. JSC «Flautex» presents actively its products at the national and international exhibitions and fairs. It is owner of prestige premiums received at the annual exhibition «Industria Moldovei», as well as at XX and XXI Moscow International Fair. In 2002, in Malta, JSC «Flautex» products were rewarded with the medal «Maltese Cross».
